Well, this update took long enough to write, but life has been pretty hectic. Here it is, my sterilization story. Please keep in mind that this is a lifelong dream of mine, and that if you are interested in any sort of medical procedure, you should talk to your medical professional. As always, YMMV.

Does any one know or recommend someone who does tubals in the Portland area? I am moving to Beaverton next month (September 22) and have until August until my insurance runs out. If you know anyone pleeeease let me know.

Couple questions about tubal ligation:

1) How much does it generally cost with a (somewhat crappy) HMO? (I actually have 2 plans...Kaiser (in CA) and Chickering (in IL)...both suck)
2) As a 20-year old, would I even be able to find someone willing to do it? Would Planned Parenthood do it, or would they just tell me to wait until I'm older?Thanks
